From complete substations to structure additions to grating platforms, no job is too big or too small for V&S Schuler.
Our 58,000-square-foot facility features two Peddinghaus Anglemasters capable of punching and shearing angles up to 6” x 6” x 5/8”, and a Peddinghaus drill line capable of drilling any structural shape up to 36” wide.
We also use a MetalMaster Evolution System from Messer Cutting Systems. This state-of-the-art machinery includes a 10’ X 35’ burn table with 8’ wide cutting capability and High definition Plasma equipment capable of cutting material up to 2”. It also comes with oxygen-fueled torches that can cut up to 4”.
Based on drawings and customer criteria, our skilled programmers create exact programs for each piece of material. We then use our state-of-the-art equipment to punch, drill, shear and cut the material precisely to our customers’ specifications.
After all pieces for a structure are manufactured, they go to our fitting and welding stations.
All fitters and welders must pass a rigorous skills evaluation conducted by an independent third-party firm, ensuring they’re certified and meet our high standards. We also have Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI’s) on staff.
There are multiple quality checks throughout the fabrication process, and we perform a final quality check once your product is finished. We also prepare it for the protective coating of your choice.
