As Operations Manager at V&S Schuler Tubular, Ray Murphy oversees all aspects of production at our 100,000-square foot facility in Muskogee, Okla. Previously, Murphy was Safety Manager and Quality Assurance at Tubular from 2005 to 2012, when he took the position of Quality Manager/Safety Coordinator at Aether DBS in Tulsa, Okla.

During his first stint at Schuler, Murphy inspected all facets of manufacturing — from raw materials to finished product — and served as a go-between for engineers and production workers. At DBS, he restructured the company’s quality system, revamped standard operating procedures and overhauled the company safety manual.
